“Villa Giovina” is a charming old country house that has been turned into a hotel. Once known as the Grangia dei Celestini, it was a walled farm owned by, and providing food for, the nearby Abbey of Santo Sprito al Morrone. This imposing church and convent complex was founded in the 13th century by Pope Celestine V who had earlier lived as a hermit on the nearby mountain.
